Documentary / 60 minutes
On the outskirts of the city, two sites dialogue from the coincidence. Both were spaces of dispersion and amusement built by different dictatorships: the Ciudad Deportiva de La Boca, built during Onganía's de facto government, and the Interama amusement park, inaugurated at the end of the last dictatorship. Today, around the ruins of these two spaces, there are settlements and shantytowns inhabited by thousands of families, many of them migrants and destitute.
From a deep investigation, Oesterheld explores with a privileged look, the transit of characters that frequently travel through those places, to portray a present on the traces of history in the urban landscape. A City of Buenos Aires seen from its extremes; in an analytical story but also immersive in its climate and transforming in the experience it captures.
